AUSTIN (KXAN) — Five people were arrested Friday, and drugs were seized in Lee County after an investigation, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
DPS said it worked with multiple agencies to execute arrest and search warrants for 18-year-old Jessie James Siebel, 28-year-old Laryssa Ashlee Muniz, 28-year-old Sierra Cash, 32-year-old Juan Carlos Ramirez, and Gonzalo Ramirez Jr.
Charges for those arrested included:
- Siebel – engaging in organized criminal activity; manufacture/delivery pg1, 4–200 grams
- Muniz – engaging in organized criminal activity
- Cash – manufacture/delivery pg1, 4–200 grams; fugitive warrant
- Juan Carlos Ramirez – engaging in organized criminal activity; manufacture/delivery pg1, 4–200 grams
- Gonzalo Ramirez Jr. – engaging in organized criminal activity; manufacture/delivery pg1, 4–200 grams
According to DPS, it seized approximately 106 grams of methamphetamine during the operation as well as drug paraphernalia.
Lee County Jail records showed four of the five people arrested remained in jail as of Wednesday on bonds totaling $300,000.
