AUSTIN (KXAN) — Arianators are about to experience some “brighter days ahead.”
Singer Ariana Grande will bring her long-awaited “Eternal Sunshine Tour” to Austin — one of only 10 cities currently on the schedule and the only Texas city. The “Wicked” star will perform at Moody Center on June 24 and 26 next year.
Other cities that have tour stops include Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York City, Boston, Chicago and London, among others.
When Grande graces the stage for fans in 2026, it will be her first tour in seven years since the Sweetener World Tour in 2019. Plus, she’ll have two albums to draw new performances from: “Positions” and “Eternal Sunshine.”
The popstar has been busy filming and promoting a film adaption of the novel Wicked, where she plays Glinda opposite of Elphaba, played by fellow actress and singer Cynthia Erivo. Grande received an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for the first movie.
The second movie in the adaption, “Wicked: For Good,” comes out in November.
Austin fans who want an early alert on tickets can sign up for the artist presale until Sept. 7 at 1 p.m. CT. Tickets go on sale Sept. 10 at 10 a.m., according to the Moody Center.
