The case that Erickson was convicted in occurred in October 2023, according to court documents. The charge for that case was for assault causing bodily injury-family violence, court records said.

In exchange for a guilty plea, Erickson was given two years deferred adjudication. In addition to the deferred adjudication, court documents showed Erickson must also complete 80 hours of community service.
