AUSTIN (KXAN) — Happy New Year! An Austin family had extra to celebrate this Jan. 1 as they welcomed a baby girl — the first baby to be born at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin in 2025.
Parents David Mejia and Eli Juana Pacajojlopez welcomed their daughter, Kiara Mejiapacajoj, at 12:07 a.m. Wednesday. Dr. Madeline Pence delivered Kiara, who came into the world weighing eight pounds and 10 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.
