AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person was seriously injured after a small plane crashed near the Lakeway Airport Wednesday, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.
Medics and Lake Travis Fire Rescue responded to the 100 block of Triton Court shortly after 6:30 p.m. for a report of the small plane that crashed in a backyard, medics said.
Two passengers were involved in the crash, and medics assessed one of them for injuries. Medics transported one adult person to St. David’s South Austin with “potentially serious, not expected to be life-threatening injuries.” The other person refused transport.
No other details were released Wednesday.
