AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department is asking community members to help find anyone responsible for the death of 27-year-old D’Andre Isaiah Day on Sept. 4, 2022.

Day was found dead at the corner of Sixth and Brazos streets around 2:30 a.m. Sept. 4. Detectives learned throughout their investigation he’d been “involved in a disturbance near the intersection of 7th and Colorado streets” prior to his death, with detectives adding they believe his injuries are a result of that incident.
