AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Friendsgiving Challenge is back for another year, and we need your help combatting food insecurity in Central Texas.
From Nov. 1-26, the KXAN Morning and Evening Teams will compete to see who can raise the most money for the Central Texas Food Bank. The 2025 competition has a goal of raising $150,000 total.
You can help by picking a team and donating toward the goal. No matter which team you choose, all money goes to the Central Texas Food Bank, and every dollar helps feed families across our community.

Last year, Meteorologist Kristen Currie and the Morning Team beat out Chief Meteorologist Nick Bannin and the Evening Team and brought home gold for the Central Texas Food Bank.
The 2024 challenge raised over $174,000.
