AUSTIN (KXAN) — The 2025 Austin Heart Walk is set for Nov. 16 at the Moody Amphitheater, with the walk starting at 9:15 a.m. KXAN Chief Meteorologist Nick Bannin will emcee the event.
The American Heart Association, which hosts the event, said it will bring the Austin community together to be active, raise life-saving funds, and support the goal of the organization.

“Through fundraising and community engagement, the Heart & Stroke Walk aims to enhance CPR training accessibility, bolster bystander preparedness, increase funding for vital research, and ultimately, save lives,” the American Heart Association said.
The 2025 Austin Heart Walk provided a schedule for the event:
- 8 a.m.: Event Opens
- 9 a.m.: Program
- 9:15 a.m.: Walk begins
- 11:30 a.m.: Event ends
The walk will begin inside Waterloo Park, and participants will exit the park at the corner of 12th Street and Trinity Street, according to organizers.
